Quality Control (To come)

Electronicount acknowledge that Counterfeit parts are recurrent in the electronics domain, especially when sometimes they are coming from the open market. Trying to recycle it or to make a lucrative business, the result is the same, the quality will be affected. It can be really difficult to detect it, as it can become an ordinary counterfeit part in the market. It's mandatory and indispensable to provide quality control to avoid that. The quality control is a set of activities in order to check the quality of the product. We believe that fake parts can cause dramatic consequences when sometimes it's going for transport, especially in the aeronautical field...We try as much as possible to buy components directly from Franchised, OEM and CM which are buying from Manufacturer or Franchised, and we don't consider any components that have been used. We prefer parts coming from Europe rather than from some Asian countrie. We believe that the success of our customer is our success, so we try to provide some quality control, basically such as:

      Surface Swab Acetone Test

We swab acetone on the surface of the component which permits us to check the information written on it, such as the provenance of the manufacturer. It shows if the marking is genuine, and point out the 'sanding marks'. It avoids us to send a fake part, as each part has a specific function in the circuit board.

Visual Aspect and verification

As soon as we receive the components we take some pictures and check the parts. We proceed with a visual verification according to the data sheet of the manufacturer. We look on the manufacturer, the date code, Rohs...and it should be the same as the technical paper. We also review the number of the components and examine the dimension of it as it should correspond at some specific characteristics on the circuit, in order to detect any discrepancy

Microscope

We inspect by microscope the component of the chip or the micro controller in order to save any discrepancy. We check the part to see if there is any oxidation or bent on the legs of the chip. We notice any default seen before shipping, to avoid any wasting of time by report and photos.

Traceability

The traceability of the component is a way to find out the origin of the component. We can thereby try to know the authenticity of the part. We, most of the time, ask about the country of Manufacturer, and we will ask about the supplier and where it's purchased if it's a sensitive part, for the aeronautical field for example.
